Shipping Policy

All shipping charges are estimated and actual shipping charges may vary.  The estimated shipping charge is calculated by an API to either UPS's or the USPS's software. ElderStore does not inflate or add on charges to the carriers charge.

To determine the shipping charges applicable to your order prior to finalizing an order:

  1. Select and item or items you wish to purchase by indicating in the "quantity field" the quantity you wish to purchase.
  2. Click "Add to Cart" button.
  3. Click on the "Shopping Cart" in the upper right hand corner of the page.  This will take you to your cart listing all of the items you are considering.
  4. Click on the "Shipping Costs" button.
  5. All options available for this shipment will display.  Select the shipping option or your choice and your total costs broken down by product price, shipping, handling and tax will be listed. 
  6. Choose to complete your purchase or delete the item from your shopping cart.

Most items are shipping via the USPS or UPS.  We use both USPS and UPS to ship domestically and internationally except when shipping to the US Armed Forces overseas.  All shipments to the US Armed Forces overseas and to other destinations such as Puerto Rico, Samoa, Etc are shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail.

If shipping charges were not able to calculate for your order, a message will appear stating that they could not be calculated at that time. We will add the actual shipping charges after we calculate and continue processing your order, UNLESS the calculated shipping charges are more than 25% of your order's semi total. If the shipping costs are more than 25% the total, we will contact you for permission before processing your order. If you would prefer knowing the exact shipping costs and it does not calculate for you, you may choose "telephone order" on checkout and we will call you to give you the exact shipping costs. Please give us a DAY TIME TELELPHONE NUMBER. Or call 1-888-833-8875 between 9 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday and place your order with a customer service representative.

Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select means the "next business day."   If you place your order past 2:00 pm in the afternoon CST, your order may not be processed until the next day.  At that time, the next business day would be the following day.  If the next day is Saturday or Sunday, the next business day would be Monday. 

Orders placed on Friday after 12:00 pm will not ship until the following Monday.

Note:  Confusing I know, but we have no control over either the Postal Service or UPS on when they deliver.  We always try to expedite an order if it is next day or 2nd and 3rd day delivery to get your order out immediately that day.
