The ChatterVox is the best portable voice amplifier around, boosting your speech volume by as much as 18 decibels. The package includes a rechargeable “fanny pack” amplifier and speaker unit along with your choice of microphone.

The ChatterVox is worn like a "fanny pack" around the waist. It is lightweight (1lb 2 oz.) and easy to wear. The waistband is made of woven nylon and is adjustable to 44" (extensions are available).
The ChatterVox can amplify your voice 12 to 18 decibels.
The unit comes with your choice of one of four microphones. You can choose between a Headset mic (fits behind the head, not on top), a collar mic (wraps around the neck), a pencil mic (great for group speaking situations) or a transdermal mic which sits on the "soft spot" of the neck.

The ChatterVox unit is equipped with (6) high capacity Nickel Metal-Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries that provide up to 14 hours of continuous use. A re-charger is included in the package. The NiMH batteries have a life expectancy of approximately two years to five years depending upon use. Actual life will vary significantly depending upon the usage and charging habits.
The ChatterVox was designed to accommodate standard AA battery cells for use if the NiMH batteries were inadvertently not recharged. ChatterVox's batteries are industrial quality cells similar to those used to power cellular telephones.
