Select Sliding Transfer Bench makes bathing easier, safer and more comfortable

Transfer benches are used to get into and out of the bathtub safely

Getting into and out of the bathtub safely is the purpose behind the use of a transfer bench. The Select transfer bench has a wide leg stance for secure, steady positioning. The adjustable height legs have an adjusting height range of four inches, from a low of just 18.5 inches to a high of 22.5 inches. The legs are quickly and easily adjustable in one inch increments on the outside leg and by 1/2 inch on the leg inside the tub, to level perfectly to the depth of your bathtub.

Using the tub transfer bench:

Using the handhold in the seat back, sit on the seat, and take hold of the large handle (with your hand on the side of the bench that will slide into the tub.)
Release the locking mechanism by lifting the red lever and slide the seat while lifting your legs into the tub. The seat will slide 8.75 inches. Due to the width of the seat, the slide on this select bench does not need to be as extended as most sliding transfer benches.
Re-lock the red lever while you are bathing.
When you have finished your bath, do the above in reverse.

In addition to the above benefits, the Select Sliding Transfer Bench has a couple more advantages over the traditional transfer bench: The outside legs have rubber tips, of course, to prevent slipping; but the Select has suction cup tips on the legs that rest inside the tub for even more stability.

A soap caddy is included which is large enough for soap, shampoo, etc. Because the bench is reversible, both the large red hand hold and the soap caddy can be mounted on either side of the bench. And a hand held shower holster is built in to both sides of the bench as well.
