Because only the seat cushion lifts
on the Risedale instead of the whole chair (like most lift
chairs), we were able to maintain the classic, open-legged wing
chair design that has proven so popular in the furniture
industry.

A simple push of the Risedale’s
Power Lever will lift you up with ease. A simple pull to lower
you. Nothing complicated. No control pad to slip off the arm of
the chair; no dangling cords.
In fact, if you remove Risedale’s
Power Levers, you’d never know it was a seat-lift
chair!

Your
Risedale comes with two Power Levers that can be used on both,
left or right sides – you choose. They are easy to install
and remove.

For the convenience of users
5'1" or less, your Risedale chair comes with custom,
height-adjustable legs that will lower the chair 1.5" as
needed. The extensions are easily removed using the hex key that
comes in the box.
Should you choose to purchase a
matching ottoman for your Risedale, it will also come with
custom, height-adjustable legs.

You may
purchase the optional matching ottoman for your Risedale
separately. It also comes with the custom, height-adjustable legs
as your Risedale, so that you can adjust the height if you are
5'1" or under.

To adjust the legs, simply use the hex key that comes with your

seat-lift chair was to give you the style you want, with the
function you need.
You need help getting up, and you want
to feel safe and secure while doing so. This is made possible
because of our patented LeveLift – a flexible seat designed
to move up and down on a level lifting plane. In other words,
while using your Risedale, you stay safely seated on a level
surface through all stages of the lift – avoiding the
dumping action of other lift chairs.
So, you may need a little help getting
up… but you don’t want to settle for a bulky lift
chair. A chair that offers a lift shouldn’t look like a
medical device; it should be as nice as every other chair
you’ve ever purchased. Using LeveLift we were able to
create a classic wing chair where only the seat cushion lifts, so
