Redware has been developed to stimulate food and liquid intake in people with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Researchers have found a direct correlation between bright colored tableware and the amount of food and liquid that is consumed.

In one study, Alzheimer's patients in particular experienced a 24% increase in food intake and a 84% increase in liquid intake.
