This set of TWO oval, melamine dishes combines
some elements of our other adaptive eating dishes. The oval form allows
the combination of two different elements for independent eating.
The plates have a deep, rounded slanted rim on one end
of the oval and a gradual slope on the other end. The high, inner ridge
design enables you to easily and independently push your food onto your fork or
spoon. The slope on the other end of the plates enable you to "scrape"
your fork or spoon down the slope, capturing the food and "pushing" it up
against the high rim at the other end; which in turn "pushes" the food onto your
spoon or fork. The process of eating, or at least getting your food onto
your utensil, can then be accomplished in one fluid stroke rather than "chasing" your
food around the plate or using one's fingers.
The set provides you with two different sized plates.

- Small plate dimensions are: 8.5" x 6 1/8" x 1

The dishes are made of white Melamine and are dishwasher
safe. Microwaving is not recommended.
