Memory Lane Family Video- The video, in both DVD and VHS format spends 30 minutes taking its viewers through a stimulating memory scrapbook journey. The Family Video can be enjoyed as pure entertainment. Think of it as a multi-media scrapbook. Unlike a conventional scrapbook, this Memory Video incorporates moving pictures, spoken words, music and sound effects, making for truly extraordinary viewing experiences. Themes presented in the video are subdivided into topics: dating, marriage, babies, child’s play, ballerinas, baseball, birthdays, family vacations, the teen years and graduation. Changing topics in the video is the same as turning pages in a scrapbook. In the Memory Video, each topic is introduced with photos from the Memory Book, developed through the presentation of a music video, and finally personalized through reminiscing by a peer of the viewer.

Who hasn’t been moved by a favorite song or been transported instantly back to a cherished place or time? The CD contains 39 audio tracks taken directly from the video. Just put the CD in and for approximately 40 minutes let the memory of a loved one escape into musical bliss. Great for use with the Family Memory Book, or listen to the Family soundtrack while you do other things. Memory Lane Family Memory Book- Is a powerful tool for fostering reminiscence. It was designed to support a number of discussion and hands-on activities. The Memory Book is really a template, organized by topic in facing-page spreads. The topic sequence matches that seen in the companion Family Memory Video. A collection of generic photos are provided with each Memory Book. These can be mounted on the page spreads to recreate the version of the Memory Book seen in the video. This is an excellent sorting, matching and crafts activity for you to share with the person in your care. You can customize the Memory Book by finding new generic photos in magazines and mounting them in the book. This is a powerful topical matching exercise, requiring the viewer to identify a topic and find pictures related to that topic. You can also personalize the Memory Book by mounting personal photos and memorabilia.
