A long handled bath sponge made for people with the use of
only hand or have difficulty grasping a bar of soap, OR,
for those who would just like the convenience of having a long handled bath
sponge with built in soap.
The sponge head slides off the handle exposing an opening in the back of the
sponge where you will insert a small bar of soap. Hotel soap would
be a perfect size to fit easily into the opening slit. Or, you
could use the soap slivers left over from regular bars of soap.
The sponge, made from dense foam, is attached to a rubber backing. The
rubber backing has two extending "rails" which slide down the head of the
handle. The sponge does not slide off the handle easily, for obvious
reasons, preventing the sponge from sliding off the handle during use.
An individual with little hand strength may not be able to slide the
sponge to insert the soap, and may need assistance.
The plastic handle is ergonomically designed with a slight
curve and is textured for a good, non-slip grip. Total length of the
long handled bath sponge is 15 inches in length. The sponge is 4.5"
long by 3" wide.
