Dining with Dignity offers special needs flatware for people with
grip impairments Designed and developed by a professional chef who became paralyzed from an auto accident.
Unable to feed himself, he developed the utensils so that he
could dine again, independently and with dignity. These
attractive utensils enable individuals with almost no ability to grip to eat
independently. Each utensil may be twisted to meet your specific grip
and strength. Even a person with no grip has the ability to "hold" these
utensils while eating WITHOUT
assistance. Flexible rings are
adjusted to your hand size and condition.
The stainless steel (10/18) rings attached to the stainless
flatware can be adjusted to fit various hand sizes and gripping
angles. These are the most adjustable utensils on the
market. Also available in small size for small elderly womenDining with Dignity adaptive utensils come in two sizes: the regular utensils
are normal flatware size and length.
Dining with Dignity now also offers a
a shorter version (spoon and fork only) especially for small, elderly women. And of course, Dining with Dignity Utensils are dishwasher safe!
