Bard® Cunningham Incontinence Clamp stops urine flow for men with urinary incontinence. Easy to use device safely
applies just the right amount of pressure to the urethra, the area near the
bottom of the penis, to stop uncontrollable urine flow. It's perfect
for men recovering from prostate surgery, stroke, and other urinary control
problems.
How the Cunningham Incontinence Clamp Works
This unique device is safe and easy to use, even
if you self-cath. The "V" shaped reusable clamp features a hinged,
stainless steel frame with two foam rubber pads and a locking device with Bard Cunningham Clamp has five adjustable settings
To use the clamp, simply place the bottom area of
the penis between the two foam pads, adding pressure to the urethra to control
urine flow. The five adjustable settings allow users to select the most
comfortable pressure point for use. To urinate, simply release the clamp; or, if
you self-calf, release the clamp and follow your normal self-calf directions.
Choosing the Right Size Cunningham Incontinence ClampThe Cunningham Incontinence Clamp is available in two
(2) sizes: regular and large. Choosing the correct size
offers the best, more effective results. To choose the size best for you,
slightly compress the penis between the thumb and forefinger around the urethra
area, applying just enough pressure to stop urine flow, and then measure from
side to side.
If your measurement is more than 2", choose the large
clamp.
If your measurement is less than 2", choose the regular clamp.
