The New Compact AudioLink II
Personal Listening Device is the latest transmitter and receiver combination for
the hearing impaired. It amplifies and transmits sound from TVs, MP3 players and
most public IR systems using 95kHz standard infrared formatting.
95KHz has been the standard frequency for the past 30 years.
The AudioLink II is designed
to work with all TVs including Flat Panel LCD TVs and is ADA compatible with
thousands of sound systems installed in public facilities, cinemas, theatres,
places of worship and museums.
The Transmitter comes equipped
with industry standard cables to connect to audio out of the TV and a TV
microphone for jackless TV's. The transmitter is very small (5.25" x 3.5"
x 1.0.) The transmitter works well with the newer large screen LED and
Plasma TVs.
The receiver provides high-quality performance
with comfort, clips securely to your clothing or can be worn as a pendant. The
receiver is very small (3.75" x 1.0" x .75") and is equipped with a 3.5mm
stereo jack to plug in your own listening preference. The AudioLink II
receiver will work with most 3.5mm headsets, earbuds, noise
cancelling earphone or induction neckloops. A tote for carrying the
receiver with you to church, theaters, etc. is included. No
special batteries are required! Uses two AAA alkaline
batteries which should give you up to 140 hours of use.
